Starting September 26, the National Nordic Museum will offer the first Virtual Nordic Genealogy Conference, a mixture of live and on-demand keynote lectures and workshops that can be followed from anywhere in the world. Professional genealogists and subject matter experts from North America and the Nordic countries will share insights designed for every level of familiarity with genealogical research, from beginners and enthusiasts to experts.

While there will be several sessions featuring Nordic history and culture, the conference also will offer programming that represents blended heritage and transnational identities, including sessions on preserving oral histories.
